As a full-time locksmith with over 18 years experience in the field,
I whole heartily endorse the Steal Shield. I have examined the
construction of the Steal Shield but more importantly the quality of
the lock and keys. The lock uses a 7 tumbler tubular pop in lock.
This lock is virtually pick proof against unconventional methods
such as the “Bic Pen” method. The center of the  lock is also
protected by a ball bearing to deter drilling.

The keys are not common keys that you can just get copied at any
local hardware store. They are a tubular style of key which helps
to deter unauthorized people from making copies with out your
permission. I use the Steal Shield on my own boat trailer and it
gives me peace of mind knowing that my property is protected.
